She pushed her meal aside, clearly done with it and listened intently. When Mariko was finished she nodded. "Er, well." She scratched her head briefly. "I haven't been here too long, but I really don't remember how I got here.." Her brow furrowed for a moment, trying to recall. "I haven't even reached past my twenties yet, and I already have a bad memory..Oh yes! Well, in my hometown, when one reaches a certain age they must embark on their own quests to become an indivigual. I won't be able to see my family or hometown again till I've done something worth value to the family to bring them honor." She shrugs. "There's been some that have gone and never come back.." She doesn't speak the last part of the sentence aloud. Hopefully that won't be me. She clears her throat and smiles briefly. "Not quite interesting." She glances down at the tugging of her tunic. Galade was holding the tray, wiped clean. "All done," she proclaimed proudly.
