Subject: HELP!

I've been trying to hex short hair and I actually somewhat succeeded!! But I need some help! Okay,eveything looks good but the back of her hair is more of a circle and it doesn't look wide enough, is it supposed to be like that? If not does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I really want to do this so please someone help!!!!!
