Subject: Adele's story

Adele's Story: Adele was born on January 3rd 1996 and from the minute she could walk and takl she hadd loved to find out new things, she was always asking questions and trying to learn new things. What she wanted most in the world was to go to school, but when she was three she was diagnosed with cancer and the doctors said that she only had about a year to live. She was in and out of Hospital all the time trying to fight it but she always said that she would get through it, when she was four she was too ill to start school, that was a real blow to her but she was still determined to get better. She had chemotherapy and antibiotics and all sorts of drugs and by the end of the year they thought that they had beaten it, so she started school, a year late but she started and I never saw her happier, she was learning things and I was so proud of her, but just after Christmas she was taken ill in the night and was rushed to hostpital, they did everything they could for her but she was deteriorating. Adele died on the 6th of January 2002, 3 days after her 6th birthday.
