The band is really looking forward to jammin' with Mark Hague(Mr.Blotto,Hach-n-Wheeze). It should be a fun and interesting night of music. If we make a bunch of mistakes, it's Hagues fault. It must have felt good to play again after two or three weeks of not playing. Your enthusiasm was definately evident and the energy was high and flowing, once again... Good to see all you Speargrassians jammin' out like the old days. It was really great to see Eric hangin out too. And Ernie's band rocked as well! It was a blast, thanks for a classic Chicago night! Flower Power and Happy Thanksgiving all! May the Tofurkey be abundant. (oh and so everyone knows.. The # for Hannon's is 262.547.4272, and ask for Pat Hannon. A little something more. If the guys are looking to get into the college scene then have them submit a promo as soon as possible to: UW-Waukesha, Band Promo Materials, 1500 N University Dr, Waukesha WI 53188, C/O Sue Kalinka I talked to Sue since I work with her and she said it's generally done that when a band is hired for a gig they hire them in a "block". They're hired by a number of schools at one time and get a lump sum for playing all the schools in the contract. It sounds like a pretty sweet deal. And having someone who works for the school as a friend and contact works very well :) Replies:
