All right, let's be general. I only wish it could be genial, as well.
How could a reasonably intelligent individual such as yourself hope to blame all his problems with other people on the sole assumption that they were all raised Republican? Is it that easy to console yourself? How can you justify your continual alienation of others with such a sweeping statement? The world does not stop and start at one man's behest, no matter what his rationale might be.
Let us cut to the chase: is it possible that those who have, as you claim, abandoned you may have been held at arm's length by your childish behavior for an insufferable amount of time until their last ounce of patience was finally exhausted? Is it conceivable that your once-called friends' acts of, as you so eloquently put it, betrayal may not have been a one-sided affair, that you might have had something to do with their disappearance from your life? Is it within the realm of plausibility that the axiom "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" could have saved a few, if not the majority of those friendships?
Is it?
