Subject: No confirmation of prayer request

I have not attended the Friends Helping Friends group as of yet, however, I have many things in common with all of you. I was baptized at Lake Nixon on Sept 10 and have joined the church and become a regular attended. I have joined a small group ministry, "Living God's Way" and taking some great strides in getting closer with God and Jesus.

I wrote a prayer request for you all to pray for me. I stopped smoking on Monday, September 25, 2000. I have smoked for approximately 14 years. It has been a huge monkey on my back and I know I need more than patches to help me get over the addiction. I posted this prayer request and maybe I do not understand how this page works or whatever, but I need your prayers for God to take away my desire to smoke. Satan has really been on me to pick it back up again and I am not feeling very strong about it. I would like to attend the group sometime because I have more issues than just trying to quit smoking cigarettes. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

I also have a work e-mail address (don't know exactly how long I will be here though, because I am miserable and pray for God to lead me to a job that will bring me happiness and allow me to grow) The address is julia.marable@ocse.state.ar.us
