Subject: I need your help!!!

Spoke to Rob last night, very late. He was at his dad'd in near by Burleson. Said he had had enough. He had received notice of the divorce in the mail yesterday also. He said he spilled everything to his dad and wanted to know if I would still take him to rehab. He was planning on leaving this morning and being back here by 12-1. I told him with the funeral and all I just couldn't do it this weekend no matter what. He doesn't want to go to a halfway house after rehab either. He understands why I can't take him back here right now, but he doesn't know where to go. I told him I would be willing to take him straight from here to Ft. Smith, but I refused to make any calls or other arrangements on his behalf. I also asked him to complete the divorce proceedings. I am afraid I may have had the chance to see him go to rehab and now I have put him off at least a week and he may not go now. I am afraid that since he has no money to get back on he will do something stupid or get high again and forget his plans.

Would you please comment and give me your honest opinion? Did I do the right thing? I still love him and would love to see him straighten up regardless of what happens in our relationship.
