Hello.
My name is Jake Halliburton and I am a volunteer at the Children's Hospital Center at Springfield. I am sending this email to you to make more people aware of a terrible situation I discovered here. You can help by sending
this email to ten people. The more people who know about this, maybe something can be done.
A little girl in our hospital was born on September 18, 1999 with a rare and monstrous deformity. Her mother, Zayneb Umran, was brought here from Iraq where she was a technician in an underground breeder reactor facility making nuclear weapons. In 1999, there was an accident in the vent core cooling containment area and Zayneb, who was in her first trimester of pregnancy at
the time, was heavily irradiated. United Nations personnel brought her first to a hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and from there to Springfield where she delivered a few months later under tight security.
Her tiny daughter, Nasik Umran, was born without a head, perhaps as a direct result of that nuclear accident.. Her brain rests in a membrane between her small shoulder blades and breathing is accomplished through a stoma where her trachea meets her collarbone. Feeding is accomplished by spoon-feeding her with pudding and other soft foods into her surprisingly well-formed
mouth located just above her sternum (Nasik's favoriate is Jell-O chocolate pudding). Other than this, she is a normal child, although blind and prone to projectile vomiting when tickled. I have taught her to sing "America the Beautiful" and she has the sweetest voice!
The mother, Zayneb, insists her daughter was born this way because her husband Yussra is very unlucky at everything he does and in 1998 opened a hat store in downtown Baghdad. People told him that he was so unlucky that if he went into the hat business babies would be born without heads. He defied their derision and started the store anyway, with tragic results.
I have heard that there are several other cases worldwide of this condition, two are supposed to be in North Korea and one in China, possibly another in the Ukraine. I have written to my Congressman about the need to study this
phenomena before it starts affecting American children, but so far no answer. No one seems to care about headless children. Especially blind, projectile vomiting ones.
I urge everyone who reads this email to forward it to ten people and maybe as public awareness grows, we can find out whether this is caused by nuclear materials, biological agents, or unlucky haberdashers.
