Subject: greetings and a life lesson

hey guys!!!!!!
i missed you (loves....)
now don't be upset but i have a horrible confession. silverchair is playing two nights in my home city and i'm not going. i didn't try to get tickets. partially because i wasn't here, partially because...i just didn't feel the need. terrible, i know. it hurts me inside. they were my first ever concert and favourite all-time band (slash subject of obsession)...
i've come to terms with the fact that we all change and i can't make myself obsess over something i've passed, but i realize now i should be going. so here's my life lesson: respect your former selves. ie, if i had the chance to go back in time, i would go get some tickets if only as a nod to the fact that the chair meant so much to me before. it would have been the right thing to do. but such is life, and i'll know for next time, and i'll rest happier in the knowledge i've now enlightened you all. AND i'm still meeting nora, melissa, and jenna!
so yeah. don't be like me!
