Everything I've read in Chairpage states that Daniel's reactive arthritis was brought on by a virus. I actually did a search on the internet on reactive arthritis right after finding out about Daniel and I was extremely upset because it can also be brought on by being HIV-positive. They haven't mentioned it, but I'm sure they wouldn't even if they thought it was a factor. I just hope that that's not the reason he's having more problems than the doctors anticipated. I seriously don't think it had anything to do with his eating disorder, but you never know.
