hey silvia
yeah he's already been on. i taped it but missed the first 7 minutes because i forgot. it was at 5pm on saturday. somebody posted on the chairpage forum that they have ripped the mp3 of the interview, but when i went to the site it wasn't working because of bandwidth. i'm hoping someone else will host it soon though. it was quite a good interview, he picked some strange songs! at the end they played the tuna in the brine premix but it didn't sound very different to me, it probably was but i didn't notice or something. one thing that really stood out to me was that daniel sounded just so positive. he talked about being friends with van dyke parks, about how he's looking forward to touring for the first time, um what else...he's going to take the rest of the year off in australia to rest and then have more therapy in the US early next year, about how ben and chris and him can just pick up where they left off after a long break and how special the band is (i think...i may have got that bit wrong), i can't remember much more right now but it was a pretty good interview. my mum came home and said "daniel johns actually sounded very intelligent" (she was surprised :P)

hopefully silverchair.nu will put a link up for the mp3, or i'm sure there'll be a working link posted on chairpage eventually. if i find one, i'll post it, if not i can transcribe the part i taped if you want. i reckon the boys are going to want to tour as much as they can, and touring the US and canada will also help to rpomote the album. hopefully by the time they've played the aussie dates they'll have perfected the songs and be ready to tour a lot internationally :)
