I never ended up having to get braces, thank god... the orthodontist just hooked me up witha retainer right away, and I wore it 24 hours a day for 18 months, and now... *smiles*... perfect teeth. I LOVE my teeth. :) My problem was that I sucked my thumb until grade 6, so it was pretty wild. Actually, come to think of it, I still catch myself sucking my thumb every once in a while- that's pretty funny. Sitting in math class- "OK... what the fuck? Asna, if you catch me doing that again, hit me!" :) So yeah... braces/appliances/retainers suck... but the end results are awesome. :)
