Subject: Oh the humour... :)

I'm taking a break from crying, breaking things, and RE-DOING (for the SECOND time) an English essay (which was due, like, two weeks ago, but fucking Crashy decided it wasn't good enough and deleted it and the backup files TWICE now!!!), to say this:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Anyone else know that one of them Hanson kids got married?? I found that out today, and I was like, "Woah... that's wild... wait.... how old is that one? Wait, which one was it? Taylor? Ok... not helping with the age thing... wait... he's not the once that's MY age, is he?? Holy god!! No... ok, it's the middle one... 19? Ok... not as bad. Slightly Macauley Culkin-ish, but ok. Betcha THAT'S gonna last... *snicker*... Hey, her name's Natalie! That's cool... "

And then it was on MuchNews and Hannah referred to Macauley too! But no mention of my poor Avril's arse-crack... strange (lol... anyone who saw her at the MMVAs knows what I'm taking about...)

So yeah, there's some comic relief for yas... happy summer/exams, dears!

J.

PS- Y'know what I just found out? "Pritnear" isn't a word. My friend Ansa, who's originally from Toronto, informed me of this today. I always thought it was a word!!! Apparently it's just Ottawa Valley slang. It MEANS 'pretty near' -like, "It's pritnear snowin' out, it's so cold!". And she says 'pretty near' isn't a real phrase, either. So now I'm all confuzzled. How many OTHER words that I think are real words AREN'T real words?! Oh, and apparently "freezing rain" in the past tense ISN'T "froze rain". I've been saying, "It froze rain yesterday" my whole life! And it's not, "For fuck sakes", it's, "For fuck's sake". And it's not, "Squwushed", it's "Squashed". I'm kinda upset... I don't UNDERSTAND this!! And Asna informed me of all this in Canadian Lit today, and Ms. Boire (who's from Ottawa) told me that, yup, it's all true- but that it's ok cuz our accents and our slang are "REALLLLLY cute and SUPER endearing!!" It's weird... I've been told that what I've always assumed as RIGHT is WRONG. I'm not liking it.
