HAPPY CANADA DAY, EH?!




YEAH!! HAPPY 135th!!





(So I'm half an hour early... Deal! :) )

This is soooo excellent, eh? The first Canada Day long weekend in a LONNG time where it's not shitty out!! It was 32 today, and it's gonna be 35 tomorrow!! And it's not all windy and wet, either! Excellentness...

So yeah... HAPPY CANADA DAY to all the Canadians - have an AWESOME day!! Get really drunk! Listen to WAYY too much 'Hip!! And HAVE FUN at Edgefest, Melissa! (and you too, Heather, if you're still going!) And watch out for my friend Tina... she's the one with the boyfriend who "looks just like Jeff Martin from the Tea Party!", but he really doesn't... And they'll be sleeping in his "fifty thousand dollar KICK ASS car!!"... which is really a Honda Civic... Yeah. Tina likes to exaggerate. ANYWHO... lol...

And all you non-Canadians - celebrate anyways! Wear some red and white! Play some Canadian music! Hell, pretend you're Canadian for the day- not like anyone's gonna kick you arse for it... everyone LOVES us, remember? ;)

PS- Anyone ever notice how Johnny Canuck always looks American? Like, the All-American guy... blond and blue eyed, tall, built... Johnny SHOULD be wearin' plaid, and beer apparel, and his hair should be hid under a Roots/Canadian toque, and his theme song should be a cross between O Canada, the Great White North song (coo-coocoo-coo-coo-coocoocoo....) Locked In The Trunk Of A Car, The Hockey Night In Canada theme, and the Red Green song, and he should talk like Bob and Doug Mackenzie ("Howsit goin', eh?" ... Ahhh... The beginnings of a national expression...). Yeah... and he should look like the results of a threesome between Edwin, Curtis Joseph and Anne Murray ... Oh god. ICKY mental picture, eh? Well, maybe not Edwin. Edwin is good. And Cuj is good, too. It's just Anne Murray... ok... umm... Yeah. Methinks I took this too far... meh. What can y'do?
