Subject: tons of random things

Firstly, I saw the Calling last night, which was wicked fuckin awesome. Lots of cool people. Also, 8 words: Alex Band's guitar pick is in my possesion.
I know they get pegged for being pop and mainstream and shit, but they're such an awesome band. Very talented.
I know everyone's pissed about the release date and everything, but hey, the summer is the best time to release an album and tour around it. Record companies think about these things, and it isn't silverchair's fault, or the chairpage guy's. He only knows what they tell him, and things change. I know it sucks, I had hoped to get something much sooner as well, but I'll live with what I have. I'm not going to get worked up over it. I'm happy to have anything, so I'm not going to ask for everything.
Also, I know you guys, well a few of you don't like The Greatest View, and it is a happier, bubbly kinda song, which isn't my favorite thing in the world, but I feel I can work around that. But the point is, I have a theory on this. Hang on to your asses: Daniel's just gotten off all the anti-depressants, and he's experiencing life again. He's not leveled out all the time. If you feel nothing at all for a really long time, even feeling pain or bad emotions like that can feel good, just because you're feeling things again. He's happy right now, and that's good for him. I don't think we should dog his recent songwriting just because it's more optimistic. C'mon people, free love :)
Sorry, that was the hippie in me. But just be happy, cuz there's a new chair album coming out. Even if it is in July. They could have just gone "okay, i'm pissed, i'm through with this. no more music." I'm just glad that is not the case.
And, final thing, everybody go out RIGHT NOW and buy Injected's album, called Burn It Black. They're my buddies, they're a local band, they just put out their debut album, I'm incredibly proud of them, and I want them to have lots of support. :) Plus, Danny sort of sounds like Daniel sometimes when he sings. And their names are similar. Just noticed that. So anyhow, the album's really good, and you guys should buy it... Danny need some new t-shirts. Those Snap-On Tools things are getting worn out.
Anyhow, I'll shut up now. :)
Have I mentioned lately how much you guys rock?
