The point I was trying to make about the Strokes is that their album has been out for months now and yet supposedly the good citizens of Britain are buying more of this than something new and innovative. Would still like to know everyone's thoughts on whether the way that Gomez look and their attitude makes them less favourable to the music press. If they were depressed, melancholic and constantly on the verge of breakdown would people pay attention?! Perhaps if they fought with each other or behaved like they wanted to be in the seventies there would be interest from the press? Or, maybe, they could go around slagging off other bands and being completely arrogant?! Sorry for being a cynic but I think it is justifiable.
