Please don't start bickering NME-style about what constitutes a "real" fan and I wouldn't start judging Gomez's music before the album is even released and can be listened to somewhere better than in front of a computer. Gomez are the most unique British band around at the moment, no one compares to them and their attitude towards music is amazing, they don't even seem to be wound up by the media, something that often destroys other bands. I remember reading something that said if they looked a little less like themselves they would probably be champions of music and this is sadly probably true. I'd rather be Olly Peacock than Julian Casablancas any day though and if you still understand what I'm talking about I'm sure you would all agree!
