Date Posted: 08:47:37 03/13/02 Wed In reply to: Neil 's message, "Re: How was the Scala gig" on 01:12:54 03/13/02 Wed I thought it was great! They had to play all the new songs really as it was an NME sponsered gig. No doubt they'll play a lot more of the old stuff on tour, especially at Brixton as it will be the last date of the tour. I loved the venue. It was very intimate with the band being able to talk and joke with the crowd. I was at the back of the bottom part and even I was no more than 10 yards away from the boys! I think they could have chosen the old tunes better though. I'd much have prefered to hear Tijuana Lady than say Do & Don'ts or Brother Lead but then everyone always moans that they never hear any B'Sides at the gigs. At the end of the day we would ideally like to see them play every single song they have ever released but it's not possible. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
