i just heard the gomez interview on 2fm (irish radio station) right now. it was with ian, paul and olly, and all were very talkative (even blackie!)and in good form. they said tom and ben were in germany so they must've split up to do all the radio press etc. they were on for ages, about 45mins at least. they played a load of songs from the album in between interviews. let me see, what did they say...
oh, regarding tours, after the april tour they're doing all the european festivals, that'll take them up to august. then they're off to japan and oz for some "major touring" so all you aussies have gotten lucky. they said they won't be going to the usa until early 2003, so anyone from the u.s is gonna be pissed.
they told lots of stories, mainly about being drunk and the like, and a very funny one about danny thompson and john martin and how he buried him under the floorboards in a pub and, oh well, you just had to hear it!! i chuckled, i did.
anyway, i'm off to bed, just thought ye might be interested in that, i expect a lot of follow ups on this (especially from pissed of american folk.
