Ever see the movie, "Patch Adams?" Many people come into this "little clinic" as you call it with all those things you mentioned, but they get care, and they survive. Getting a well staffed hospital is easier than done because, in my opinion, many doc's do not want to work for peanuts, just the big bucks. He had delivered as babies--most of my generation and knew everything about us as we grew to adulthood and beyond----You just knew he knew all about everyone and it was not questioned----sort of like the parish priest who knew all the secrets but you just knew he could tell no one so that was fine----both were kind gentle men [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
