I had a very similar exam - also given at my home - 3 years ago. It was pretty thorough much more that I had expected. There was some initial talking over tea then adjourning to my bedroom for my physical. My temp was taken orally - I was examined wearing only my panties and then had to remove them for the rest of it. The chatting over some tea was nice - only a few minutes - helped take the edge off but maybe only because it was a home exam.

After reading the two posts I returned to the web for more info on these exams. It's as though the exam protocols are all identical w/ the exception of an applicant needing an EKG based on certain requirements, the method of drawing blood- either a finger prick or with a syringe and again depending on the clients age, the amount of insurance desired, there might be some variations or other home/clinical diagnostics done. But the two areas that jump out in the two posts from are the fact that you took either coffee or tea just prior to the exam starting. That is something that according to all protocols for preparation; say should be avoided. And second, no mention anywhere of body temperature being part of the exam. Were you not feeling well, or was it something your examiner felt she needed to do?
And I'm not saying what you posted isn't true. But those two areas are as I said things that seemed to jump out at me. But glad the subject was posted.

Both posts say that you were either totally or partially disrobed. Nothing like that in the protocols I've checked up on. Yes, they tell you to wear certain clothes, but say, there's little or no need to be as minus clothes as you both were. Look at the bright side, hopefully you got your insurance and won't be enduring this ritual again.
