The use of enemas seem to get a bad rap in many circumstances. Some of us have overcome these aversions and even advocate for this simple procedure to overcome those common digestive issues.

I've posted here and elsewhere that I learned to self-administer at a very young age. While I managed to achieve additional privacy, mom and grandma seemed to be aware that I was successful in managing my own BM's.

Some texts advocate allowing kids to actually participate in preparing their own enemas and handling the equipment in order to become more cooperative and accepting. Best of luck in your efforts to provide an effective outcome.
