AV,

So our young lady has been doing really good. No more soiling. She is having usually two bowel movements a day. They school lets her use staff bathrooms so she has total privacy and then she will usually have another bowel movement shortly after she eats her dinner here. But her mom is the real problem. She wants her clean out enemas to continue. Part of the reason I offered to board her was so I could help her with her toileting. Mom got the impression I would clean her out with enemas every week. I got her down off of that but she insists on her getting the enemas once a month. So she doesn't know it yet but we are going to have to do her enemas this evening. She is going to be heart broken. But if I don't give her the enemas then she will get Home Health to do it. It actually will be good for her colon recovery to keep up with regular enema clean outs so she will just have to tough it out for maybe a couple more years or so.

The sitter’s mom is the one hooked on enemas, not that she is taking enemas but she enjoys seeing or knowing sitter is getting enemas. You would think the mom would be happy and thrilled sitter is no longer struggling or messing herself but she is like one of those mom’s that keeps her kid sick.

Continue doing what you are doing and clean sitter out once a month with an enema. She may not like it but it’s only once a month and not everyday.
Let her know you are proud of her and she should be proud of herself as well.

How are the boys doing?
Jr still happy he is getting his enemas from sitter?

Av,

She is going to make a great mom. Which ever one's enema is that evening when she gets here she is all about that one with all of her attention for the whole evening. She plays with him what ever he wants to play. She reads to him if he wants. After dinner she plays again for about a half hour and then if he hasn't pooped yet for the day then they go in the bathroom and do a short sit to try go. I don't go and watch but she must do rectal exams to see if they are full like I would do on her because my youngest said she "makes him slippery inside" to help him try to get his poop out so he doesn't have to have the suppository. They both still have to have at least one suppository a week or sometimes twice. She then gives them their bath and then their enema and they can't wait for their "enema night because she isn't mean, she is nice".. Their words not mine.

Shelly,
That is so good.
I am still amazed how everything has turned out so wonderful.
