I have to try to fit this in the message space above Jean the Frenchie because there is no space between his message and the next message which is about enemas. It looks like Ray had the same problem and fit his message in here too.
I had pre school physicals starting in the fourth grade. They were pretty invasive as they were always done mostly in the nude, and was done by and watched by females.
I don't remember one exam done by a male dr. or male nurse. I had a student nurse observe and take part in the exams up and including the eighth grade. As I said they were invasive by the fact that my pubic area always got an, I think, a more than necessary, vigorous examination.
The fourth and fifth grade exams were so embarrassing. I remember at first trying to cover up with my hands, and then having my hands held by my sides so they could examine my penis and testicles. I think my penis must have been hard to examine because of my embarrassment it had shrunk to a tiny size.
Attitudes change and about the start of the sixth grade I started to enter puberty, and all the talk among us boys was that the student nurse would be doing the intimate part of the exam. Anticipation was high that the student nurse would do the pubic exam, and she would be good looking. All the talk had the effect that when I got my penis checked I had an erection. The nurse checked me and I don't think the student nurse even bothered to look.
Seventh grade was more eventful, as I had reached puberty and was both scared and excited by the prospect of the examination. Bold talk from some of the guys made the exam take on more worries. Some guys bragged about their erections, and the student nurse doing the exam, and some were worried they would be embarrassed by an unwanted erection. I was afraid something would happen that would really embarrass me bad, but I wasn't sure what it would be. I think the student nurses would get to do a pubic exam if the student wasn't erect, which would be less upsetting for both the nurse and the student. Upsetting isn't a very good word to use there, but I'm searching for another word than embarrassing which I am tired of typing.
As things will happen, I was standing waiting for my pubic exam, flaccid, and a student nurse introduced herself tome and said she would be doing my exam. She pulled her little roll around stool in front of me and started to feel my testicles. All was good until she reached for my penis and I sprouted an erection. She went ahead and finished pulling the foreskin back and she was finished. I didn't go to that school the next year as my father got transferred to another state and there were no student nurses involved. I met one of my former classmates at a ballgame some years later and he told me that the school had stopped using student nurses for any physicals past the sixth grade.
I think that was for the best.
