We've always used diaper punishment for all nine of our kids. Two are grown and out of the house now, but we still have three boys and four girls at home, ranging from 4 to 18. My wife isn't immune to it either! We don't bother with enemas for punishment; it's just too much hassle to prepare and clean up. We only use enemas when they're actually sick or faking it.
For the diaper punishment, we give them a strong stimulant suppository, inserted deep enough to work on the colon, not just the rectum. Then, they're put in a diaper and plastic pants to keep everything contained. We give them three or four hours of free time to do whatever they want, but they usually just go to bed and try to sleep it off, lying there and thinking about why they're in a diaper with cramps building up.
It's mostly the older and younger ones who have attitude and behavior problems that land them in a diaper. The kids between 8 and 13 have always managed to keep their attitudes in check, and they only get the suppository treatment two or three times a year, until they hit that teenage attitude phase. Hardly a week goes by without at least one teenager being in a diaper, feeling sorry for themselves.
