to "Earl "

in a recent message you said that you would like that I give answers to James message on the thread " physical exams for school and sport " you write that his massage was on december , is it right?, I have already answered to his first message so I presume that it is the second edited on the 22 december?

But I don't see any questions
he is just relating that he has read stories by Knut Hol on an other forum or that of Lady Bird

I have checked and the forum had ben delayed
I cannot do anything to restore it !

To Jean the Frenchie;

This is in regard to your reply and question about the physical I had as I entered the army in Dec of 1964.

That was indeed near the beginning of the Viet Nam War. I believe the new inductees was crowding the system.

If you are old enough to remember, a male nurse was a real rarity. Women doctors were being made at a high rate, compared to the 50's. So they were hired by the U.S. government who put them to use in the induction centers. Maybe that explains the high percentage of women doctors and nurses. Also I think the male doctors were sent to Viet Nam, so at least at the start of the war the the women stayed stateside, but that changed and the women saw their share of tome overseas.

It was so long ago, and my memory isn't what it was, but I believe that is factual.
