Beth, surprised by your post. You are so very correct…the quality of the enema bulbs these days is a lot to be desired.

I work part time in a health food store and in a local drug store. I have brought this (poor quality of the enema bulb) up . Seems “our supplier “ …on and on.

Not long ago Pic Solution sold a very good quality enema bulb. One piece bulb sold in various sizes. I know a mom who has one. The quality is the best. Soft rubber. But firm. Nozzle bends easily but is firm. She it often for giving her three kids enemas. She also told me today’s quality is terrible.

Unfortunately, can no longer buy Pic Solution. At least in the US.

Few days ago a mom was in looking for an enema bulb syringe for her 9 yo b. We talked.

As we talked I had the enema bulb out of the box. Squeezing it in and out.

he had a “oh no “ look on his face when he saw it!

She told the quality is no where near what she remembers her mom using when giving enemas. And she had a good quality enema bulb before. But threw it out. She only used that bulb a few times to give him enemas.

It may be best to buy a good quality bag or bucket. Then putting a good quality nozzle on it.

Look at those sold by optimal health network. Very good quality.

Well the mom in the store purchased the bulb. Told me “he is going to get an enema when we get home.”

Poor baby! I’m sure I’ll see her again. And ask her how it went.
