The HDR-205 has a D-VHS port that accepts a six pin firewire cable. It is not however truly a firewire port and as far as I know can only be used with selected standard defintion DirecTV receivers such as the Hughes D45, E45, or B4 or Mitsubishi SR-SD1 and a couple of others that have the required D-VHS port. No DVI or component outputs with the HDR-205.
