top-loading, older vcrs (vhs format) are known for being able to duplicate copyguarded vhs tapes, and mine does do that, though it's in need of cleaning...so i don't use it now. i wonder if it would work in the way described with the beta recorders. there's been a bunch of material copyguarded over the years that is in fact public domain and legally open to duplication with no permission or fee required to do so. remember the law can be on your side, and that corporations like disney have thieved for years from public domain literature and continue to attempt to claim the material is their own. fight the fraud!
>>i tried to copy a dvd-r tyo my vcr with a direct
>connection via a scart lead but the pic was bad
>quality is there anything i can to enhance the picture
>>
>>How do I find a BETA recorder and how do I hook it up
>>with my DVD player and then with my VHS player ???
>>thanks
