Subject: DirecTV decoder with digital video output for D-VHS?

I just purchased a JVC D-VHS with an IEEE 1394 input. I was misled by the sale rep (imagine that) that it would connect to my DSS STB just fine. Now I realize that without a 1394 output, I will not be able to record HD. Does anyone know of a STB that decodes DirecTV and OTA HD and has a 1394 output? It there a D-VHS out yet that supports a DVI input?

Thanks for any help!
