The first prerecorded HDTV videos will be sold in June (the first titles are said to be "Independence Day", "Die Hard", "U-571" and "Terminator" & "Terminator II - Judgement Day" for app. $30-$50.

They just work on D-VHS recorders with "D-Theater". The first D-Theater recorder is sold in Japan since Sept. 2001, in USA it will be sold in May 2002 (AFAIK).

AFAIK there are no prerecorded videos in standard NTSC and/or PAL.
