Subject: Vidio Recording on VHS tapes

When continuously recording on VHS 6hour tapes, usually I start getting snow, ziggies and gittery sound. I have tried changing VCR's, different brands of high grade VHS tapes and also forwarding and rewinding tapes before use and I have yet to find out how to continually record without all these problems. Does anyone that may work in survalance know what the secret to irraticating this problem? Would love anyones ideas.
