Well, as you can see from the dates of the messages posted on this forum, it HAS already been in the UK!
But like in any other EU country it didn't do that well...
Introduced too late, baaaaad marketing, very pricey at first, something of a mess really.

Cheaper than DVDR it is, and of a better quality also.

DVHS is a great format - go get a machine, you won't be sorry.
Philips VR20D or JVC HMDR1000 (different looks - same mechanism), an online reseller of D tapes and off you go - you won't believe the quality of the images!
