While the world will say 'don't get your hopes up', as believers we need to stay focused on that HOPE that does not disappoint. Romans 5:5 says, "Now HOPE does not disappoint, because the love of God HAS BEEN (past tense!) poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who WAS GIVEN (again, past tense!) to us." In the eleventh chapter of Hebrews, faith is defined as "the substance of things HOPED for, the evidence of things not seen." And in Romans chapter 5 starting in verse one, Paul says, "Therefore, (we who believe) having been justified by faith, (we) have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand (whoa!, keep standing folks!) and rejoice in HOPE of the glory of God." HE IS our HOPE (Oh can you see this?) And in ROMANS 8 (I keep coming back here again and again lately) it says, vs 24, "For we were saved IN THIS HOPE, but HOPE that is seen is not hope (WE DON'T NEED FAITH ANYMORE IF WE CAN SEE IT!); for why does one still hope for what he sees? BUT if we HOPE for what we do not see (And this means anything and everything that God says we can have, including, but not limited to, Salvation for us and our loved ones, Health, Prosperity, Deliveranc, Wholeness, the Peace of God, Guidance from the Holy Spirit into all truth, in short, Everything we need to be victorious!) We eagerly wait for IT with perseverence." We keep waiting because HE is our HOPE in ALL things! Be blessed, because YOU are BLESSED!
