It hurts to be rejected. I will admit this to you. The Son of God was and is still being rejected today!

I can only imagine how a real 'slave' must feel when they get up day after day to the same ritual and oppression from their cruel masters. Suffering for Christ's sake can bring the same feelings sometimes to those who belong to him; feelings of rejection, loneliness and at times even helplessness. But I thank God for his word and for his promises to all those who would choose to follow the one who took on all the shame and all the hurt to cancel out the effect of sin and restore right relationship with the Father!

His act of obedience in going to the cross for me has cut me loose from the bondage to that cruelest of taskmasters, Satan himself. This is the message of the cross. A message of victory and triumph. As I have said before here, it is a message of eternal hope and freedom to all those who would appropriate it for their own lives.

It is a daily walk that I must take up fresh and new each day; it can seem lonely, but then their are many who have trod this same path who have shared the joy with others and have encouraged us on our way. it never gets stale unless I choose to turn away from what he has promised; he will never leave me, but i can turn away from him. it is personal and it is not something that i can sell to anyone without first experiencing for myself. It would be wrong to try and give away to others what has not worked for me!

This site is about a journey of one man, but one man's journey can be a testimony to a world that is searching for a way out of bondage and oppression. if you are not hurting, you are blessed. If you are blessed, it is good to know the blessor. To know from whence the blessings flow and to give thanks for them. This is what I aim to do here with this forum and with the rest of my days on earth. I believe there are eternal rewards to them who continue to remain thankful and obedient to the one who loved us so much that he gave us his son.

thanks for visiting.

Actually, Satan played a very small role in the Old Testament. He is only mentioned once! What happened was that after the temple in Jerusalem was destroyed and every one of God's promises to his people was broken the Jews came up with Hasaitan or an adversary to get God off the hook.
