Subject: Everyone participating in the Crown Jewels Series please read (nothing bad!)

Hey guys!
I'm considering to change the modus of the CJS slightly. In the rules, I said that large classes won't be split, meaning not every horse will get a ribbon. Now, I'm thinking about splitting large classes into groups of ten, so that every horse is guaranteed a ribbon (1st-10th place). I will adjust the point system to fit. Well, the thing is, like this there'll be more than one 1st place winners. Since the shows are Futurities/Derbies, we need to determine ONE Champion (per discipline). So I will pick (using randomizer.org) the Champion from all 1st place winners in the particular class, the Reserve Champion from the remaining 1st place winners and the runner-up from the champion's class. The Champions and their Reserves will be awarded more points then the other 1st place winners (still have to figure out the actual new point system though). I hope you got it! :)

Please post below saying that you read this and let me know if you think this is a good idea (or not.. hehe). When I think everyone has had a chance to voice her opinion, I will start on doing the results for the Brilliant in the Crown Futurity (ehatever way we agree on).

Thanks,
Andy
