ok. gender doesn't effect driving skills. so umm. with that said, i will now present random facts and statistics (just for sara)proving...whatever you want them too.

*Men are four times more likely than women to drive after drinking (Miller et al, 1996c)

*Men are more likely than women to have been drinking at the time of a fatal crash. (NHTSA, 1999)

*Men are more likely than women to be driving at the time of a fatal crash. (NHTSA, 1999)

*Male drivers involved in fatal crashes were nearly twice as likely to have been intoxicated (21.8%) than were females (11.2%). (NHTSA, 1996)

*'The male fatal crash involvement rate per 100,000 population was 3 times as high as for female drivers in 1994. Female drivers continue to exhibit safer driving statistics than male drivers. Males accounted for 67 percent of total fatalities, 68 percent of all pedestrian fatalities, and 86 percent of all pedalcyclist fatalities in 1994. 22 percent of male drivers involved in fatal crashes were intoxicated compared to 11 percent of female drivers. 37 percent of female drivers involved in fatal crashes were unrestrained at the time of the crash compared to 47 percent for male drivers involved in fatal crashes.' (NHTSA)

*for road rage stats between men and women go to: http://www.aloha.net/~dyc/surveys/mf.html (because i am too lazy to copy all the random stats). what you will find is that the percentiles between the two are extremely close.

ok. i'm done. melody.
