 For the sake of debate, and due to the lack of an opposing side (melody?), I will ramble a few *quasipro-Iraq ideas.

1) We don't need to attack. Powell said in a speech either today or yesterday that one option was to let "nature" take its course, meaning either have him die "naturally" in his sleep, or let him die of old age. He is 64 I think. Old man. He will die or be overthrown.

2) We shouldn't attack Iraq now, it is bad timing. Even the French PM Chirac is attacking us. Crazy. Top EU officials criticized Bush's Axis oEvil. First, we need to reconcile with the other axis of evil nations, to improve PR. Then we could bomb the hell outta Iraq. Right now attacking Iraq would isolate us and turn the Arab world vehemently against us.

3) Attacking Iraq would give excuse for Hussein to use WMDs. Right now if Iraq used chem weapons against us, international sentiment would allow us to retaliate with full force, possibly nukes. But if we attack first, a chemical attack by Iraq would seem understandable to the rest of the world.
