Hmm, good job trying to forge that message MELODY
I wonder why this post isn't mine, well let's see:

First, a matter of a laziness: The post is date "Date Posted: 09:11:51 01/01/02 Tue." I would never be up at 9 in the morning on Tuesday, when I didn't have to be. Especially since it's New Year’s Day.

The post contains the phrase: "Melody's phenominail hold of North America" First, I know how to spell the word phenomenal. Second, despite my errors in the reply post to Musgrave I actually do normally spell check my entries on the forum... good job there. Third, the hold of North America was far from phenomenal (an adjective I reserve only for the best debate cards). Further, I was nice and didn't invade so she could get 5 bonus armies earlier in the game and I constantly was being a pest by taking Alaska and sitting there.

The next argument, which Melody tries to make here, is, "I also concede that I even cheated by stealing Melody's deserved risk card as a pathetic attempt to delay my loss." I did not "steal" a risk card at all. Melody forgot to pick up a risk card after her turn was over; perhaps she was preoccupied with her resistance of my offensive campaign in Alaska. At the conclusion of MY TURN, which was after the turn she should of picked up a card in, a picked up the card and said "ha-ha" you forgot to pick up your card last turn. Now, as a long-lived risk player, unlike Melody, I realize that the traditional acceptance for rules is that if you forget to place your initial armies, fortify, or even pick up your risk card before the next move is made by either you or someone else, you forfeit your chances for those bonuses. Perhaps it’s better stated this way: Melody was bitter that I picked up a risk card with a cannon on it: the card she needed to turn in a set.

That all said, and my previous posts, it's clear that the game of risk did not really go down in defeat: cross-apply Sibo's phenomenal analysis in his post.

For the record, I again turn back to saying that no current high school debater has defeated me.
