Ok, I know that I don't do policy, but policy is really interesting. Sometimes I'd just rather deal with clear cut analysis than the whole "Locke said--but Hobbes said [blabh]" crap.

Just wondering what you all think of a case to freely/cheaply distribute vaccines to other nations. On http://msnbc.com/news/730581.asp?cp1=1 I read:

A pharmaceutical company has discovered 70 million to 90 million long-forgotten doses of smallpox vaccine in its freezers, instantly increasing the known U.S. inventory of the vaccine six-fold and ensuring the nation an adequate supply in the event of a bioterrorist attack, according to government sources familiar with the find.

So now the US prolly has the means to help produce at least smallpox vaccines for other countries. Do you think this would work?

Immanuel Kant once said, "I wish I did policy."
