Ok, question-How does anyone know that Alex will even be a decent debater?Has he had any past debate experience?Is he well informed of world issues and the structure of debate?I mean, don't get me wrong, he may have a brilliant mind but he could end up not being all that good.Am I wrong here?Anyways Melody no longer has to worry because I'm going to step up and make a play for the team by becoming Melody's new debate partner.I will quit band and all interp categories and join her on "the dark side" as an FXer and a debater.Ok, so I'm making all of this up.But, I would love to hear any opinions or "counterpoints" on this question.Later.
