If I held out 2 dollar bills and told you one of them was fake- how would you know which one was the actual conterfiet? To choose the correct one- you would have to get another dollar bill you knew was real and compare it to the two. The average person could not diferenciate between the conterfiet and the real without a third bill. And if one were able to, that would mean they were already familiar with the third.

What does this mean? I do not intend on debate what religion is right or the best. I am simply suggesting that a man cannot know what is the 'truth', or right or wrong, on his own.

Throughout history, morals which were thought to be truth at the time were later condemned as humans progressed into a "greater understanding". One major example would slavery. Once considered ok or "right" by the general public- today it an obvious "wrong". Still, men who lived during the period of slavery believed it as truth. Another example of this is the exceptance of homosexuals. Only decades ago they were shamed by most people. Yet, slowly people are becoming more open-minded. The general public has changed their opinion from "wrong" to "right". So, how can the truth constantly change? What you beleive today will likely be contested years from now.

It is my belief that one must have a source of truth to discern what is right or wrong. If this is true, it is no longer a question of if God/gods exists.
