According to the political compass, I am quite liberal. But my view on debate vs. extemp apparently advoctates authoritarianism. Sucks for me.

Yeah, I dropped the artificial vs organic specialization point, my bad. But while ideally organic specialization would occur, any specialization is better than none. Researching a topic in-depth, even if the topic is 'artificial', gains the researcher experience in how to delve into a topic and keep track of all sides of the issue.

YOu know, I've been very redundant in my posts...I'm going to stop now.
