The Old Forest

The trees had once been friendly, but that was before evil seeped into the land and corrupted these woods. The lawns and gardens had once been orderly, cultivated, but now lay in a feral mess throughout the place. Any flower that might have brought happiness to another was gone, replaced with some twisted mockery of life. The forest is unnerving even in daylight, but at night... do not venture in unprotected. It is the traditional haunt of the Werewolves, though Skinwalkers, Banshees, and Vampyres may lurk as well.

A Dark cloaked figures enters this cursed place. The figure is almost 6' tall and sticks only to the most dark of shadows. Following him is a skelliton, that is dressed for battle with the little armor it has. The man is pale, even more pale than the durty white bones of his servant. A little strand of hair falls from the hooded head of his. It is long and as silver as the moon's shine, down onto this world of black night.

:the humanoid reentered, moseying past the trees slowly, wearily. She sought out the place she'd made her home, which was currently a hollow beneath an old, enormous tree. It had become fairly hollow, yet was a sturdy part of the scenery despite that. The hollow, not easily visible, was acessible only by squeezing through a crack in the rocks, that she, even in human form, barely fit through. Once through into her safehaven of sorts, she closed the entryway with a small boulder, leaving a crack open so she could get light and to make it easier to move the rock if she had to escape quickly. Not that she didn't have over three more exits... She shifted to a pile of leaves, covered by blankets made by the pelt of deer and various other animals. Curling up beneath them, pulling her silver cloak close around her figure, she fell asleep, resting after her eventful hunt, wondering where her companion, Orchid, had gotten to:

:as companion replied naught to her statement, she continued along the path, only to sit down 'pon a misplaced rock that overhung, providing an ideal vantage point to view a small area. What may have been a fountain was now a long-lost protrusion of rock, shapeless, seized by the twisted ivy. Flowers, or what may have been flowers long ago, had far outgrown their previously orderly beds. One sprouted near her, in a grassy crack in the boulder. Humans, she thought. Describing anything they don't feel proper as a mockery of life. Few understood that life often mocked itself elsewhere. And just because it was a twisted version of something already beloved, it was not necessarily terrible, to be feared, to be destroyed. Her fingers played across the petals of the flower, tarnished by evil. Few appreciated the beauty of such a 'mockery' unless in some twisted way they too bore resemblance to the flower. She glances up at the moon, ticking off the days before the full moon. Yes, in a vague fashion she resembled the flower, shunned because she was different, feared for the very same reason. As was the forest... Gently touching the flower, she awaits, silver hair spilling in cascades down her back, matching eyes focused on the lone flower on her boulder as she pondered this affair:

Alaile sits down and ignores the Vamps call, she had her views on the life as a dark one confused. She had to learn on her own. Alaile looks up to the full moon and feels the change come upon her. A scream rent through the air as the soul of a killer over took hers, as her teeth warped and changed and her body twisted. White fur ran along her spine and spread out, her gray eyes widening considerably, yet remaining the same color and style.

Her vocal cords mutate and a howl rings through the forest as the change completes itself. With a feral grin, Alaile leaps of into the night, heading for the old city.

Slowly she enters the Old Forest, sharp gray eyes peering out from the hood of a heavy wool cloak. Her hands remain tucked inside her apparel, making it difficult to tell what type of creature she was. Occasional wisps of brown hair float around her face, but they are quickly blown away. She sits and watches one of the occupants of the forest take a baby dear.

weak, she allows herself to think. The hunt for human flesh and blood is much more invigorating, much more enjoyable. That one must be young.

The woman stands up, then walks further into the forest. Perhaps the packleader would be somewhere nearby.

Well well well, it seems that things are getting a bit ridiculous here. I don't mean to sound rude, but all I've seen any of you do is, turn into werewolves, grin maniacally at each other, and think about where to hunt. From what I've seen of the other posts, and the most recent ones, you take up an entire week alone to do this. This game is lame without you guys participating, and plain dull without some action. You guys need to feed, and there's not an endless supply of deer and elk out in the forests, I will even stop you from hunting those. Decide where you will be hunting before the full moon comes about. And do try to hunt occasionally. Vamps need to feed every two weeks! Keep that in mind!

the vampiress smiled bitterly. she closed her eyes in pleasure as she heard the steady, undisturbed beating of a heart, prey. Fangs expolded in her mouth dripping with hot saliva. she inhaled and giggled childishly. How easy, she had heard stories that evil was dripping steadly out of the forest, that the evil that had stuck fear into the hearts of its resitants was pouring out with the wind. she had come to find out if that was correct, and if it was then she would restore it, bring it back to full power. She would find what evil remand and destory all that stood in her path.

She then learn of the "Old Forest" from one of her prey. She studied the legends decided to bring evil and terror back to it. So she has come.

:: she shifts once again; already the full moon was upon her. she lifts muzzle in a shattering howl. the lair was abandoned, the covenstead probably too well-protected. and the academy.. she shuddered at the thought. true, there was blood there, but even she was not that hungry. nares scented the faint musk of deer and she spun, bounding into the depths of the forest. dark branches enclosed her lithe form as she slipped into the underbrush, slowing to a ground covering lope as she followed her scent. the trail grew stronger and she slowed yet further, pushing her way through the dense growth until she spied her prey. cautiously she circled, remaining downwind from the young doe she spied that had wandered from the herd. small, and alone. form lowered, she crept forward, nary a twig crackling at her passage; she was much too expert a hunter for that. pause::: haunches bunch as she leaps, form sailing through the well-lit night, moonbeams catching on the faint silver highlights in her pelt as she lands, snapping at the doe, driving her away from the herd. a lone wolf, even one such as she, would have difficulty catching even a lone deer in these surroundings. the chase is on, the thrill of it sending the blood pounding in her veins, muscles extending and contracting to send her form swiftly through the night in persuit.::

:: the chase extended for some time; wolves do not tire easily, but deer are often unaccustomed to flight for such duration, and so the doe tires. a stagger in her gait betrayes the traces of weariness that were creeping up on the young deer; soon belladonna would have her. the duo crashed through the thicket, the lupine having it easy, following in the trail broken by the doe. they rounded the corner into some dense undergrowth, the doe sensing her imminent mortality and accepting it. delicate limbs stayed the tawny form and the doe wheeled. belladonna lunged, form a blur as she sailed forward. the jugular snapped between her powerful jaws, and the sickly sweet blood washed down her muzzle to soak into the parched earth. the blood was not as sweet as that of a human, but it would do for now. ::

History: Characters History: Jezebelle comes from an old British Isle. Her father was a poor farmer, who was barely able to support Jezebelle, her mom and her brother. At age 14 her father died by natural causes. By the time she was 15, she had killed her own brother.. by accident of course.. Atleast thats what they say. Her mother came down with Cholera by the time Jezebelle was 17, and died a painful death. She was on her own from then on, and became a beggar. To her dismay, the towns people stayed away because they considered her evil. Being alone was very painful for her. She yearned for a kindred soul to be near her, to comfort her. While weeping quietly in a Towne street one crisp night, a man came to her. The pale tone of his skin startled her, but his unusual eyes of sky blue, quickly drew her in. He offered to give her a life unlike no other. His name she never knew, and today a Vampiress she.

Persona: To most, Jezebelle has a very cunning and evil nature. Almost no one can overmind her, for she is the mistress of all foul-play. Being the beautiful femmora she is, she has several advantages. Often times Jezebelle will seduce Mortals with her risque ways. A fighter, she. If her seductive nature doesn't get her what she wants, she will fight for it, making the outcome painfully fatal for her victims. Mortals beware.

A shower of golden sparks fly behind her, settling quickly. Muscular legs come to a halt, deathly orbs gaze around boldly. A night mare, Equus Noctis, fear'd nothing. A sword in one hand, dagger in other, sheild 'pon back and crossbow under shield prooded she was a hunter~

:: the full moon was upon them... following the heedings of the lupine blood pounding through her veins she turns as well. her form shrinks, contorting and twisting, an anguished howl escaping her lips, elongated fangs sprouting from her jaws to match the bristly fur rupturing along her spine. one final howl escapes and she bristles, hackles rising, scattering the remains of her humanity. eyes are a brilliant green, unlike typical yellowish lupine orbs that grace the face of many a natural wolf. black fur is tinged with a hint of silver, but she blends admirably with her backdrop save her piercing eyes. yet another howl is issued and she approaches [arwen] with a suggestion that, for this full moon, all the weres should hunt together, regardless of pack. ::

Breone makes her re-entrance, pleasure filling her green eyes. The blood stained tips of her hair falling around her thin shoulders. Red hands clutch at the white shawl now messily wrapped around her shoulders. A smile flickers on her face, and she once again walks to the stream, washing her hands, face, and hair. The feed had been a good one. The shifter had been young, the best kind of meat to find out there.

Breone scrapes at her 'claws'. She had to keep them clean, they were after all, her most prized possession.

she wore a blue dress and went barefoot, her long brown hair swishing as she came. Innocently she came deeper and deeper into the forest's deadly maze of trees. It didn't take long for her to become lost, being as young and foolish as she was, within a few minutes she bacme frightened and cowered down under an old half rotted tree not knowing what danger she had walked into.
