"Let's begin," he began, calling for attention with another rap of the dragon-adorned dagger. "Rules: Do as I say. You're welcome in the White District or Blue District, but if you're in trouble I will send none to help. No experimentation. I will not accept having to solve the problems you cause by experimenting on your own. You do nothing unless in my presence or I directly say so." He smiles pleasantly, but any can see his voice reflects nothing but coldness and perhaps a touch of arrogance. "With that aside, I'll take a moment to explain how this all works. We work together, in Circle, to get anything done. No warlock individually has the power to vanquish anything, except perhaps an apprentice." Slight laugh is applied at this, the only humor in his words thus far. "Strength is in numbers. Given our alignment, we have less to fear from creatures of the night as those accursed witches," he said, spitting at their mention, "but we are still tasty prey for anything that feeds. We are human, we have blood, and we are fair game. Be careful," he warned. "With practice you each will be able to call power, so you may accomplish things on your own. For now, gather 'round," he instructed.
