The spoilers/rumours are that the BSD is brought back by something other than a Scoob-resurrection spell and this causes problems for s7. As much as I like the Tara-as-spirit-guide idea ( for Willow, Buffy and Dawn...maybe all of the Scoobs), it doesn't look like that's the plan. But with a recently de-chipped Spike around......well, it leaves possibilities is all.....
