I think I made my original point poorly. I share your view that Willow has no license to kill Warren, let alone harm anyone else in the process. I agree too that the circumstances indicated in the spoilers support charges of aggravated first-degree murder--insanity, probably Willow's best defense, would be really tough to pull off. I just find it interesting that so many posters, here and on other boards, whose overall posting "ouevres" indicate a strongly liberal perspective on these kinds of issues, rejoice in Warren's prospective fate--BECAUSE THEY ARE INVOLVED WITH HIS VICTIMS. I went from there to argue that our perception of the chances of the real-life system delivering justice, in the sense of providing catharsis and retribution, is so limited that a good number of posters are willing to accept, or at least seriously consider, vigilante action. If Joss has considered any of this, as opposed merely to playing for ratings, it poses some interesting questions.
