Dear Steve, thank you for your comment.

The point of reform is that we want to safe the good things in UBF and to safe the precious life of coworkers who want to live for God but have to live a poor life in Lee's system instead. I think the equation "UBF=Lee" is not true. "UBF=precious coworkers" is more true. Maybe you can compare UBF with the "whole lump", and Lee with the "little leaven". The problem is that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. Jesus said: "Purge out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, even as ye are unleavened." We want to be a new lump, therefore we have to purge out the old leaven. That's the point of reform.

I think reformers love their coworkers and sheep in UBF and want. They cannot sit down and watch how they are betrayed and abused. Also, the reformers have a heart for world mission and students on the campus, who don't know Christ the saviour. Many came to christ and new life through reading the bible in UBF. I was one of them. Reformers want to keep this work of salvation going on at the campusses.

Maybe you can tell us a little more about your experiences with UBF. I hope they didn't lead you away from God in the end.
