I know this post was put up last year but I would be interested in a spot on your lease. I'm from Marshall Texas and have always had 4 deer/duck leases growing up until now. We lost one of our leases on Stagecoach Rd. (Marshall) 2 years ago when IP sold it. Lost another one last year on Little Cypress when the owner died, left the land to his son-in-law and he won't let anyone hunt it anymore. Just found out from my Dad today that we lost our third one which was off I-20 between Waskom and Marshall due to the owner selling it. Only have one lease yet but not sure how long we can hold onto it. The owner is around 69 and his heir to the 693 acres has already expressed to us that she's cutting all timber off and selling the land when her dad dies. I've hunted all my life with my dad and I'm afraid we're gonna be in a pinch here in a couple years. Any info from you would be greatly appreciated. Like I said, I'm sure all your spots are filled for this year but maybe my dad and I could slip in a couple spots next year. I would appreciate a coorespondence back with any info you have. Thanks.
