-He had managed to remain with the dragoness...barely on the flight over the land and to the lake. As the plee reached his ears the brute gave a light curse, she was just asking for trouble. As balls of flame raced towards her he closed his eyes. Wings suspening him in the mist of steam so that he was still hidden from sight for the time. As this was done he held out his hand, motion given to deflect the attacks, though he doubted it would completely protect the female. He was strong, but he'd already used some of his powers against Othoe's changlings and to calm some of the flames about the lake. But now he had to help his friend. He only hoped he could. As the steam settled the brute moved. But obviously not soon enough, for his figure was seen...if only for a moment before it disappeard once more into the trees, using the flames to hide him. Loud voice rang out his warning to the water fae-

'Look out Mayleena. Use the water to deflect the flames...'

-His cover most likly blown he stood within the remains of his burning home, waiting and watching for his friend's fate to unfold-
